Local Lifestyle

Park Cities is home to families, working professionals, and many notable residents, including Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The neighborhood has long been associated with wealth and exclusivity. Park Cities has exceptional shopping options. Snider Plaza is a shopping center where some of the town’s best restaurants and boutiques can be found. The plaza is home to independent shops such as Christy M. Boutique, a womenswear retailer that sells clothing and accessories for all ages. 
 
Another beacon for shopping in town, and a national historic landmark, is Highland Park Village. The luxury shopping center offers multiple high-end brands. From independent boutiques to luxury brand-name outlets, Park Cities has it all.
 

Things to Do

Park Cities boasts an exceptional selection of distinctive and exciting things to do. Dallas Country Club is a members-only club with gleaming facilities that offers golf, swimming, delicious food, and family-friendly fun. 
 
Catch a game, a performance, or simply take a stroll at the stunning Southern Methodist University. On the SMU campus is the gorgeous Meadows Museum, nicknamed “the Prairie Prado” for its semblance to the legendary Madrid Museum. Park Cities was the recipient of the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a national center of scholarship with a museum documenting the 43rd US President. 
 
As for outdoor spaces, Flippen Park is known for its stunning Spanish-style gazebo and fountain, while Lakeside Park is known for its walking paths and whimsical teddy bear statues. One of the biggest events of the year in Park Cities is the annual 4th of July Parade, a joyous celebration that brings the community together. Schools

Park Cities is primarily served by Highland Park Independent School District. A small portion of the neighborhood is served by Dallas Independent School District.
