Touch Some Dirt

Energetic Shifts in Real Estate: Grow a Garden, Touch Some Dirt

I read something recently that struck a deep chord:
“Your brain was not made for this much noise. Grow a garden and touch some dirt.”

It resonated because I’ve lived it. There’s a kind of peace I only find when I’m outside, hands in the soil, planning a new landscape bed or gently tucking a plant into the earth. From the first spark of inspiration to the final bloom, the process brings me joy that far outweighs the effort. It’s not work—it’s alignment.

Eckhart Tolle teaches us to be present. Abraham Hicks reminds us that joy is the path, not the reward. Gardening, for me, is both. It’s a return to the now. A reminder that life doesn’t have to be loud or fast to be meaningful. That growth—whether in a garden or in ourselves—happens naturally when we nurture it with care and attention.

And just like a garden, our homes should support that kind of peace. A quiet backyard, a sunny windowsill for herbs, a space to breathe and reconnect—these aren’t just features. They’re invitations to slow down and come back to ourselves.

If you’re dreaming of a home that gives you space to grow—inside and out—I’d love to help. Whether you’re ready to buy, sell, or just talk about what that looks like, let’s connect.
